Hi

I am trying to create a report summary report.

However when I try to do this, I can not get to some of the linked information. This partly because I can not find a way to determine what field names are exactly. Is there a way of getting to this information for elements?

The ones I am struggling with currently are for the opportunities. Currently in the I have done not of these return a value.

[link_opportunity.refDate] (was trying to get to the planned end date.)
[link_opportunity.refStatus]
[link_opportunity.refExpectedImprovement]
[link_opportunity.refDescription]
[link_opportunity.refDescriptionText]
[link_opportunity.refOpportunitySource]
[link_opportunity.refImpact]
[link_opportunity.refResult]
[link_opportunity.refPriority]
[link_opportunity.refSignificance]
[link_opportunity.refLikeihood]
[link_opportunity.refCriticality]


I have also tried since there are many fields we wish to report on in terms of the linked opportunities to get these to report in more than one box. But the second box does not print.

I have attached a copy of the template I tried. The template is the file called BH_Project Summary_EN_2.docx


Your help would be appreciated.

On the template report screen, when you click on "show available fields" you get list of all available fields.
So you have link_Requirement (and other link_* items), without full descriptoin, just because

Thanks for this, however this means we can create even a project summary using the Report plug in tool, with all the information we require, deliverables, opportunities including things like the expected monitory benefit, summary etc.

How do others manage and get reports from ProjeQtOr. I am suprised it is this difficult, I have looked at the standard reports and most of these would not be relavent to us?

Am I missing something

a. Summary, highlight reports, reports for stakeholders on project can not be that unusal a requirement.
b. As well as reports for users - Everything they are associated with, or need to communicate to their teams.

no, this plugon is just done to firmat what is displayed on the screen.
It is not a complete report generator.
We paln to have this, but it is very heavy work.

Ploject summary, such as Flash report or other summary sheets are always very specifis, and are developped as specific reports.
Some customers have internal tema who can do this.
We can also do this for you : you specify the report, we analyse et develop it (it is our business ;) )
